This program has proved an enduring success only because lawyers like you continue to volunteer and share their time and talent serving as judges. Please consider volunteering this year if your schedule permits. For a manageable time commitment of only a few hours, you can serve as a role model for high school students, receive 2.0 general CLE credits from The Florida Bar, eat bagels, and share some Constitutional values with a rising generation of Americans.

FORMAT: A mock congressional hearing in which the students make a joint presentation and then answer questions. The judges and lawyers sit in panels of three. The students appear in panels of six. Topics include basic issues of constitutional law such as free speech, equal protection, federalism, etc. Materials provided on the morning of the competition contain suggested questions. No preparation is required of the judges.
