Dear DCBA Member,

 

Thank you for making today's luncheon for ABA President-Elect Carolyn Lamm so successful.  Thanks especially to our sponsor Coconut Grove Bank, too.

 

The connection between national bar leaders and leaders in our own South Florida legal community is robust.  Carolyn Lamm is a graduate of the Unviersity of Miami School of Law and our own Steve Zack will be president of the ABA in 2010.

 

Finally, at today's luncheon the membership approved a change to our Association's By-Laws, permitting Florida Registered Paralegals to become Paralegal Members of the DCBA.  Please encourage your paralegal colleagues to join our Association and to help us to encourage diversity among our ranks and to fortify our unified voice in our professional community.
