On November 14, 2008, the Dade County Bar Association created a special committee, admitting paralegal members to the DCBA. Pursuant to Article II, Section 6 of the DCBA’s bylaws, “Any person who is a Florida Registered Paralegal with The Florida Bar is eligible to become a Paralegal member of the Association. Paralegal members shall not be eligible to vote or hold office in the Association.”
Paralegals who join the DCBA Paralegal Committee receive the benefits of attorney members, including discounts on services, access to programming, continuing education, and more. All New Applications are approved by the Board of Directors at the next available regular Board Meeting. The meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month, except August.
