Mission Statement

The Florida Registered Paralegal Committee is dedicated to providing a venue for its members to interact with the legal community as a whole, while emphasizing ethics, education, professionalism and diversity. The Committee aims to broaden the experience of its members through the promotion of networking events and informative speakers at monthly meetings, to grow membership by taking an active role in recruiting new paralegals into the Committee through public awareness, and to support the continuing education and effective utilization of paralegals.

Goals for 2010-2011

Increase FRP membership in the DCBA

Encourage FRP members to attend DCBA CLE events

Provide FRP members with access to informative speakers regarding general legal and paralegal matters

Increase public awareness of FRPs

Increase FRP awareness for non-FRP paralegals
