JUDICIAL POLL RESULTS 2002Dade County Bar Association05/30/07 Dade County Bar Association 2002 Judicial Poll Results DADE COUNTY BAR ASSOCIATION The results of the 2002 Judicial Poll of the Dade County Bar Association were released on July 24, 2002 by Association President Tom Pennekamp, Jr. and Judicial Poll Committee Chair Jeffrey Michael Cohen. The Dade County Bar Association Judical Poll is intended for judicial self-improvement and the public's information and education. The Dade County Bar Association neither endorses or supports candidates. All 11,642 members of the bar in the Eleventh Circuit (Miami-Dade County) received the 2002 ballot. 1,893 (16.26%) of the ballots mailed were returned and tabulated by Bergman, Spiewak, Gottesman & Co., PA, CPA's. Florida Supreme Court and Third District Court of Appeal judges standing for retention in 2002 and 11th Circuit and County Court opposed and unopposed incumbent judges and candidates were evaluated.
