POSITION TITLE:

• Senior Attorney with the Ethics & Advertising Department (HDQ)

The Ethics & Advertising (EA) Senior Attorney's primary duties at The Florida Bar (TFB) are:

• Answering telephone inquiries from Bar members on TFB's Ethics Hotline,
• Writing informal advisory ethics opinions, and
• Reviewing attorney advertisements

• $55,355 - $91,812 (usually filled at or near base)

Knowledge of:

• The Rules Regulating The Florida Bar
• Legal terminology and the judicial process

• Excellent legal and analytical communication skills, both oral and written
• MS Word
• Internet Research

• Think logically and effectively problem solve
• Interpret policies and procedures
• Organize and prioritize work
• Demonstrate initiative in group projects and individual settings
• Tactfully manage difficult situations
• Communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing
• Consistently provide an excellent service oriented attitude
• Operate well under pressure and in a team atmosphere

• Florida Bar Member in Good Standing

• Three (3) years legal experience as an attorney
