The Legal Aid Society (Dade Legal Aid) is the oldest civil legal services provider for the indigent in Miami-Dade County. Established in 1939 and chartered in 1949, Dade Legal Aid has 21 staff attorneys who handle a variety of matters for indigent individuals, children and families in the following areas: family, domestic violence, guardian ad litem, guardianship, housing, benefits, teen advocacy, non-profits, start ups and bankruptcy.

Put Something Back is the successor of the DCBA Volunteer Lawyers Project. PSB recruits, trains and supports lawyers who accept pro bono cases through the project. Over 7,000 lawyers participate in PSB and over 30,000 clients have been served.
