Isabella Poschl

Isabella Poschl

Young Lawyers Section President

After years of ignoring her mother say she should become a lawyer, Isabella graduated from Vanderbilt University, gave up her dream of becoming a writer for Rolling Stone Magazine, and enrolled in law school with a singular purpose, to work with, and advocate for, immigrants. Upon completing the immigration law clinic and graduating from St. Thomas University School of Law, that vision was still intact.

After working for a Florida Attorney General campaign, Isabella transitioned into private practice at Saleh and Associates, working with a full range of immigration issues, from investor visas to asylum claims.

After three years, Isabella moved to her current position as an Asylum Officer with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Citizenship and Immigration Services Agency.
